Gina K. Inspired

I made some cards today using Gina K. Sentimental Summer kit
that I bought while at Junkie Fest.

I water colored these flowers and leaves with Zig markers.
I wet my paper with water then colored the flowers yellow.
Then I went back and added orange and just pooled the
color around with the water and the yellow ink.
I popped up the flowers but not the leaves for a cool look.

This is the same stamp set.  I heat embossed silver onto black cardstock for a different look.
The camera makes it look purple but it is not.
It is all shiny silver like the top flower.
I tried every angle of the camera to not get this purple look.
I am not liking this one as much as the first card.
Of course, it stands to reason because I usually
make cards with bright bold colors.

I totally got my ideas from Gina K. videos.

Foil cards

I recently went to a Stamp Junkie fest and the hostess was Gina K.
Her new product is foiling on cards.
I told my friend Cindy on the way that I was not jumping on that
bandwagon and getting into foiling.
Well, when I got to Village Paper and Crafts, the foil cards were amazing.
Of course I had to buy some foils and all that goes with it!

I made these cards today and I am so happy with how they turned out.

Here is a picture of myself and the amazing Gina K.
Look at that smile on my face!
