Focal Image.

For our Boot Camp this week is focal image.  Here is my take on focal image.
I used textured paper and ran my distress ink pad down the side.  The polka dots
is a ribbon from Hobby Lobby.  The sentiment and flower are stamps from Michael's.
I colored the flower with my distress markers.  I am still learning how to scan my
cards and I am sorry this one is a little crooked.

  1. Hi Sherry! This is a really pretty color combo and the polka dotted ribbon is so fun! The eye definitely goes to the flower first, if for no other reason than that is where the greatest amount of detail is in your design. The blue frame blends in a bit with the background on the left side so if I were going to make a suggestion to you it would be to add another black layer framing the flower. If you did and then moved it down and over a bit to overlap the ribbon there'd be a relationship to guide the eye from the image, down the ribbon and on to the sentiment. Thanks for joining in on the February Bootcamp and sharing this with everyone!
