The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge Day 4

I made 6 of these cards as I am in desperate need of birthday cards.
I love the purple and red together as it very bold.
I used Studio 71 alcohol markers to color everything.
The background is a 3D embossing folder from We Are Memory Keepers.
The flowers and vase are from Stampendous.
I just love how these turned out.

The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge Day 3

The flower stamp is from Hobby Lobby.
I colored it with my new Studio 71 alcohol markers.
The square double stitched dies are from Gina K.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge Day 2

I got this stamp at the Whipper Store when I was in Wisconsin.
It is made by Rubbernecker and it is a two step stamp.
First you stamp the outline stamps in black.
Then you go back and watercolor the middle stamps and stamp between the black lines.
I loved this set as I have made many different color cards with it.
The sentiment is from Gina K.
A few sequins and the card is done!

The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge Day One

To start out the week and day one of the coloring challenge,
I made this card using the peony stamp set that was in our swag
bag at Junkie Fest last year.  It is a the Gina K. peony set.
I used my Spectrum Noir markers and chose a very light coral to
make this sympathy card.
I heat embossed the sentiment on black paper with white embossing powder.
I added a few very little sequins to balance it out.
I hope that sequins look ok on a sympathy card.
What are your thoughts?

Hello Lovely

Yesterday my friend Cindy asked me to give her a challenge to get her mojo going.
I told her to go to her studio and get out her Hello Lovely stamp
and make a card with it.
So I did the same.
I made two different cards with that same stamp.
I used my Spectrum Noir pens to color with and I am happy at how they turned out.  Of course I like the red one best as I am more partial to reds and bold colors.

Messy Craft Room

My Craftroom was a holy terror.  Just a big mess!
I promised Lani a new blog post so I decided to show her the bad
and the good.

Ok here are the clean pictures.
You can see my desk now.
You actually see the tv too.
Now I am a happy camper and can craft away.

Enjoy Lani!

Shaker Flower Cards

I got a new die from on line to make a shaker flower card.
For the life of me I could not figure out how to use this die.
My son came over and helped me to figure it out.
It took him 3 seconds being the engineer that he is.
Thank you Johnny!

Once I learned how to make these cards, I went
crazy with different colors and sequins, some with
tulle and some with acetate.

I found that the tulle was easier with no static.
I also discovered that using double sided paper made
all the designs go better.
I like using up some of my patterned paper
as even though they are busy papers, they
work with this design.
I like putting a touch of colored sequins inside to give
the card a little zip and bring it all together.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed
making them, once Johnny showed me what to do!
