Distress Inks and Watercolor

I got some new Ranger distress inks for Christmas.  Today I played with
them a little.  I ran the ink on the inside of an embossing folder and then misted it with water.
I put watercolor paper in the folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug.
I like how it turned out.  I also stamped distress ink on my heart stamp and then misted it
with water before I stamped it.
These will go in my next box for Operation Write Home.

2 Step Stamping

The other day, my friend Cindy made a card using a 2 step stamping set.
While talking to her on the phone, I realized I had the same set and never used it.
Cindy taught me how to do the two time steps and how to use my
Stamp-a-ma-jig.  I have had that thing for years and it has never been
out of the package.  Well, hooray for me, I got it out and used it
and now I love it.
All the flowers on these three cards have been double stamped.
I used all the stamps in the set and made multiples of these 3 cards for my next
box to Operation Write Home.
Thanks Cindy!

Colorbox 6 x 6 pad

I got this 6 x 6 pad from Walmart.
It is made by Colorbox and it had 100 sheets of paper
in it.
Well for the last few days, I was bound and determined to use
up every last sheet of that paper.
I am sick of the browns and blacks and am ready to start
on some Spring colors.
I just finished the whole pad and it is such a weight off
my shoulders!!!!

Birthday Cards

I am a member of a new Facebook card group and my goal
is to send each and everyone of them a birthday card this year!
I make a few birthday cards every time I come to my craft room to have enough.
I am using up busy paper that I did not know what do do with it.

Paper piercing

I tried some paper piercing today!
This technique is out of my comfort zone!
I really like how they came out.
So much prettier in person though.
The pinks just matched up so pretty!

Finishing touches

My beautician ordered lots of boxes of cards from me.  Lani is home from Boston so she helped me box up the cards real pretty and we made these candy canes to put inside the box.  The whole package came out real cute.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
